Parentage Child Custody Paralegal Washington State
Five separate ways to establish custody with a parenting plan in Washington State for Unmarried Parents
Establishment of Parentage.
Petition for a Parenting Plan.
Motion for a Parenting Plan.
Petition to Modify a Parenting Plan.
The fifth circumstance. Sometimes, there is custody that has been decided, but there is no parenting plan. For example, the state (DCS) established custody for the purpose of child support, but for nothing more. Whichever parent is receiving the child support would have been designated the custodial parent even without there being a parenting plan or residential schedule.
This document preparation service can be for changing custody of the children from one parent to the other parent when there already exists a parenting plan that resulted from an order establishing parentage that was filed with the court.
If you do not have a parenting plan yet and no child support has been set, see our establishing parentage paralegal document preparation services.
